firmware 2.71-1.5 with the easy downgrader.. all was fine devhook 0.46 had tekken working star wars etc

at home yesterday playing a .cso and battery ran out, ( flashing grey screen with battery symbol in the center)
but my charger was at work,
come in today to plaug it in and I get no green/or orange light to say it's charging.
Damm sure the chargers fine as i was using it friday, nothing happens on screen not a peep from it.

anyone any ideas. ( i'm currently leaving the battery/mem stick charger out of it for a day to see if it then magically plugs back in and springs into life...)

worst case senario (it can't be bricked can it as nothings overwrting the flash files) if it is a hardware issue ( e.g fuse ) and I still in warrenty then can i get it fixed?

yeah, this is just a simple fuse issue, dont worry about this its not bricked. so you can still get it fixed. dont send it off to sony though, they will upgrade that 1.5 psp to a 2.81, which is not downgradable/hackable at the moment. its your choice though. make sure you FIRSTLY check thefuse in the charger, that might have blown, saves you opening the psp.

anyway, best of luck with bringing it back to life!

thx for the reply,
i tried a new battery in it and it works!! i also check the charger and it's fine
but it still doesn't work when the charger is in and no battery

is that the fuse issue everyone goes on about?

I really don't want to send my 1.5 psp back to sony only to get a fixed 2.81 :(
but i only brought it in august...
