Using HDAdvance

Want to know what is and isnt possiable with this software.

Looking to be able to make copies of this software to use on other PS2's without buying multiple copies.

also possibly booting right from HD instead of disk, putting files on HD or something

connecting to PS2 through crossover and adding files to HD. from computer....

I am sure that some of these questions are already answered or may not even be possable. I am really new to this PS2 scene. done a few xbox's but just started looking at ps2's

I'm sure there are various images of the software you can download if you look hard enough perhaps , but this will require a modded PS2 to run on as it is unsigned.

Secondly , with programs such as Hdadvance you can install and run games off a hdd installed in PS2 (not the v12's).

I was wondering if there was anyway to put the files from the disc(HDAdvance) onto a memory card or on to the HD so you could boot without the disc at all.


From what I understand of M$ modding when you use the Evox boot disc you can FTP to the box and then add remove software from it that allows it to boot EVOX instead of the orginal M$ code.

Why wouldnt it be possiable to do the same thing with this software?

Does the PS2 have a boot sequence?

Will it not load directly from teh HD?

Cant you browse the Memory car from the PS2 main menu?

Why not the HD?

Just asking it may not be possiable at all i am just learning and trying to expand what is already there.
