Problem Qoob Pro (change to Sx to Pro)

Hi, I have changed chip from qoob sx for, since the wire was already knit to you have removed the sk sx and put pro, I have changed the red wire putting it on the v4 like from instructions, but on power on it appears a black screen, but the led of the chip it is on…. I replace the sk sx and leaves again all.

Please Help Me :eek:

Assuming that you had the right point and just made a typo:

- Have you flashed the 1.3c-Bios to the Chip? I'm not sure if it comes with a bios.
- Have you removed the Flashconnection to the PC?
-Have you looked if none of the wires short with the heat sink? (they could have moved a bit while you disconnected and connected the chip)

no chip is virgin, no bios has been installed, because hardly turn power on it appears one blue screen

I have tried to make the weldings, but it seems strange if I put SX works and PRO not always blue screen:( :( :( :(

maybe there is no bios on your qoob pro. Hook it up to you computer with the usb cable and flash the 1.3c bios on.

No, nada, nothing.... insert cable usb on qoob pro and pc, but the PC does not find no peripheral one usb, tries to you on a desktop and laptop :confused:

There seems to be a connection missing if your desktop or notebook computers are not detecting the QP. You'll have to open your Cube up again and verify the ribbon cable installation. Make sure that the blue tab from the ribbon is facing up towards you, the exposed contacts should be facing towards the chip when you are inserting it. Make sure that the ribbon cable is inserted evenly all the way in, and that you lock the ribbon in place after installation. LEDs should glow green on both the QP and the USB connector.

While you have it open, insulate the yellow and purple wires with electrical tape so it won't short on the heatsink.

If you have more than one USB input on your computer, try using those.

Make sure that your Cube is unplugged. NEVER power on the Cube while you have it connected to your computer....nothing really bad will happen, it just won't let you do anything.

Did you use the Qoob 1.3-flasher? Sounds to me like your expecting your PC to recognise your chip. That won't happen. You have to use the flasher to conect.
