same with me...My 4 year old brother decided to grab it and throw it floor for some reason, mine was a phat DS though. And to make it worse the little hing by the right shoulder button above the stylus holder cracked and now the upper half is somewhat uneven.

dropped? never. threw? too many times to keep track and it's always because of fucking tetris ds. if i owned the cartridge i would have bit it in half by now. i'm happy i never paid any of my hard earned money for that game. if anything, nintendo should pay the consumer to compensate for the rise in blood pressure ultimately resulting in a heart attack and early death.

Yeah, I sometimes get angry problems with video games....ladies? ;)

Anyhoo, I've had my ds phat since release, no drops. Ds lite onyx since release, no drops.

I guess I'm just a caution cat.

I suffer from LOW bloodpressure. NDS is better than medication. ;)

i have never dropped my ds. or threw it. i have got pretty mad at games before, but mostly xbox. but i know people who drop their ds constintely, and they have less problems then the people who have dropped a psp once and have it snap in half.

but ive never dropped my ds

i Havenīt dropped it yet. But that may be because i bought it just a few months ago, and Iīm quiet caring with my stuff.

I haven't dropped mine either yet, but I've been dropping my cell phone a lot since I threw away the leather case I had been using for two years.

I've dropped my DSLite on the road by accident before, now there are scratches on the slot1 side of the device. I've also dropped my phone so many times it seems as though someone has been biting at it (similar to a pen which has been bitten :( )

I have not dropped it or thrown it.

If I get angry with a game I just punch my self. SERIOUSLY! It helps! 8D

I once had a bad experience with breaking my Gameboy Color.. So yeah, I learnt my lesson from that.

once, today. I used it as a calculator at the grocery store and had it shoved in my pocket and had to run to catch my bus. It was a bad, bad feeling, hearing it hit the parking lot and looking all vulnerable.

Ive only dropped my DS lite once, and it was only from about 2 ft. onto hard asphalt. I was sliding out of the back of my sisters van and it fell out of my sweater pocket. It bounced and hit the bottom corner near the heaphone jack. It left a small crack there, but somehow the force jolted the power button on the opposite side of the DS off its track. Even though you could force the button up and down with ur finger nail, the springyness of it was gone and it eventually stopped working, so I bought a tri-wing screw driver from play-asia.com, popped it open, put the power button back in place and now it works fine. I've owned my DS since last july and I'd recommend everyone get thoes invisible plastic shields on their screens, they work great and perseve the screesn good.
Also when I got my replacement wii-mote wrist straps I put one of the old thin ones on my DS for extra drop protection.

i dropped my ds lite once.

i was putting it in my pocket to go upstairs, and then i forgot that my pocket was open at the bottom (it was ripped fully wide open), and the ds lite feel hard onto the concrete floor of my unfinished basement. i thought that was the end of it. but all that happend was a few (fairly deep) scratches on both shoulder buttons and a bit cracking of the paint near the battery light.

that was easily fixed when i installed my shock shell :). now its ALMOST like brand new again.

Whenever I drop my DS it goes into bullet-time :D

I always think it's going to be broken but it always survives.

If you dropped a DS Phat it would probably demolish your house :D
