It doesn't matter. BUT, I want to use them on a save I already have, so that might make only one choice useful, although IDK which owuld be best for that....:rolleyes:

Do you know how to use them in saves then? B/c until I find someone who can help with codes to use on my current save, I'd be willing to get a new file just to test them on.

i still don't think i can help you, recently i learned how to convert the save files the old Datel device used (.duc and something else i think) into something usable like a .sav or a .0 or a .dat, i mean, if you want help doing that, sure i can tell you, but it sounded to me like you just wanted to put codes on a file and that you already knew how to use the Datel save format... sorry this might be going in circles idk

Google AR crypt

that program will convert AR codes to dipstar codes.
use M3 game manager to write your game with Dipstar cheat enabled.
write dipstar.nds.gba to card as well.

turn on NDS, go into game and scroll down to Dipstart.nds.gba.
Press A button ONCE.

nothing will happen.

Scroll to your game and press A button THEN quickly press and hold the L button.

Dipstar should load.

You have 8 slots to enter codes. Each slot is for each button (A,B,X,Y & directional)

Press A and enter your dipstar code from AR crypt.
Only one code per button (ie. inf Health, inf Coins, etc..)
Press Start to save the code.

reboot.

repeat process, BUT don't press L button
Instead press and hold the button you entered the cheat for.

That's all I know. I haven't gotten any codes to work so good luck on trying :p

oh yeah, dipstar is up to version 5.11 now.

I got AR codes to work using Dipstar on Pac Man World 3. I didnt have to do any kind of converting either. Go to gbadev forum under "DS Misc." and read through Imaha486 threads and it should explain to you everything you need to know.

i need a little help trying to get dipstar to work
i followed doedill's instructions but can't get it to work

i save dipstar.nds.gba to the card using m3 game mananger
i also saved the nds w/ the dipstar cheat enabled option
then i select dipstar.nds.gba, then i go to the game i want load & select it & then hold L. but nothing happens. it'll go into the next screen which is the select the save data file screen. while still holding L, i can't press anythingelse.
if i let go of L, i can then press A to proceed. I also hold L right after that also. it says loading dipstar then the nds game. but it'll just load straight into the game.

am i missing a step or something? really appreciate the help

Yeah i have the same exact problem as narutomen. Do i have to enter a code when i click enable dipstar at the m3 game manager, and if so what code? i too feel i am missing something. What do we do?
