Hey everyone, below is an email I wrote to maxconsole to which they told me to post it in the forums... so here goes.

"A few weeks ago I purchased a DMS3 Mod Chip for my PS 2 from an online retailer. Since then, I have discovered that the detailed soldering required of my PS2 would be somewhat out of my league. A little bit wiser, and a little bit poorer, I decided that it would be best to sell my DMS3 and buy a Slide Card instead. But the company I purchased the chip from would not take it back, I figured that they wouldn't, but it was still worth a try. And, my attempts to sell the chip on Ebay were cut short when they took my auction offline today. I would really like to know if you might know of a way I could sell my DMS3 Chip (classic blue card, not the new green) for any price, I am now just looking to get it off of my hands. I would also like to know if I have any other options, other than paying someone $70 to install it for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks."

I think the email speaks for itself. :)

You can try a number of things , try selling on IRC (no spamming though :D ) and various website forums such as cdrom guide , mediaforums etc.

You really should get a professional installer to install it , Save up your pennies and get it done properly.

:D

I'd suggest you browse this site also http://www.chipinstallation.com/

Hope this helps , have a nice day!

Any other 'very easy' to install devices for ps2 require swapping , and i'm sure you don't want that.
