Matrix infinity problem Please Help

ı am new at the forum and ı have scph-70004 . so ı have a problem with modchip. ı wanted to upgrade firmware my chip to v 1,88 . ı inserted the cd and pushed reset button so ps2 booted the cd appeared the matrix logo at screen it says ''PLEASE PUSH START BUTTON TO UPGRADE MATRIX INFINITY''
so ı pushed start and appeared ''programming % 0'' then electricity broke down. now ı inserted a game but appears ''please insert a playstation or playstation 2 disk'' what will ı do ?

Did you try the recovery mode, heres from the readme

- NOTE : You can always recover from a bad flash by entering recovery mode.
==== This will let you boot the upgrade disc to reflash your Infinity.

To enter recovery mode:

V1-V12 and V14 PAL :
====================

Hold the reset button until the blue eject light turns on.


V14+ USA and JAP
================

USA : Hold reset until blue eject lights turn on, wait 3 seconds and
tap reset again.

JAP : Hold reset until blue eject lights turn on, wait 3 seconds and
tap reset, wait 3 more seconds and tap reset again.

you might have to have the update disc in the rom, not sure as i've never had to recover from a bad flash

i tried your opinion but it is same at present ı guess ı will get a boot cd of infinity maybe? :( if anyone knows this problem please help me

when you lost power was it a power surge? if so you could of fried the chip especially if your ac wasnt connected to a surge protector. When you say a boot cd of infinity what do you mean? Also when you tried holding reset did you get a recovery screen or did it just boot regularly

I CHANGED MY CHIP (INFINITY) AND MY NEW CHIP IS DMS 4 PRO ITS GREAT
