View Full Version : AR DS Codes Not Fair!!!!!

Action Replay DS has just launched but the U.S get more game codes but i dont mind that because i dont have them games anyway but what i have learnt is that the U.S get better/more codes than the UK/Eur ones:
Mario Kart DS USA:
Press x for this weapon, press y for that
Able to change tracks into 3 different ones
Mission codes
rest same
Mario Kart DS Eur:
Only have one weapon
Only able to change 2 courses
no mission codes
rest same
Now why is that? If anything, it should be the other way round due to it being made in the UK or at least the same but no.
What do you guys think?

Mario Kart DS Codes are the result of cooperative work between Datel Us and Datel UK. FNG Did the unlocks, and we did (UK team) the circuit modifier codes, freeze Timer and weapon codes.now you gonna ask, why is the extra track modifier on the US list if you guys in the UK did it ? Well, that's due to the fact we begun working on the US game and didn't add this code in the UK list.
Now, we have in the UK time constraint. As much as we'd like to spend the whole day doing codes like our collegues, we do not.
However, as you might have not noticed, most codes (but for the Timer/Weapon codes) are same on both lists. Simply export the XML US file, then copy and paste the codes you want in the UK list.
Also, there is a debug menu on Wario Touched in the Pal list that's not on the US side, and vice versa, you have a character modifier on Mario 64 in the US list. There are many more UK codes for lost magic, and more Us codes for Nintendogs.
My point is, you will find differences which pretty much gonna depend on how long the person has spent working on the game, but most of these codes are easy to port so you can simply either ask us or any of your friends porting the codes for you.
Alternatively, send us either a phone call or an email and we'll be more than happy to port/fix any code you require.
By the way, there is now an extra track modifier in the UK codelist.

Hello to you to. So there is a way of porting the extra Mario Kart DS Weapon codes (eg press x for ...) from the U.S to UK version. Would it be possible for you to do this for us (the community) or if you do not have the time tells how to do it.

The Weapon codes have been added for you, but don't beat me if they don't work, as didn't have time to check them more than 2 minutes and i'm going home now :).
And don't forget that with the trainer things will be easier for you. Create your own codes, and publish them on your website to share them with everybody.

Just want to say, nice work on Max Media Launcher! Although I don't get why you guys didn't figure out the sleep mode.

They forgot the two special pins that every DS cart uses for 'sleep mode'.

I don't bother with sleep mode any way. If i am not playing i turn it off. The only system i use sleep mode on is my psp.
Edit: The only reason i use sleep mode on my psp is because it does it automatically after a bit

Could you also thank all the people that made the AR DS, cause its the best. (Much better than AR Max Duo) But, you still need to tell me your secret.

You will need to tell us how to use it on roms because when the trainer toolkit comes what else are we going to train on?
It wouldn't be fair if you could only train your own games because I KNOW you dont make the codes from the real cart

I also don't think it's fair the difference in codes for the two versions .. cuz the UK has 111 codes for Lost Magic all of them good while the US only has 2 and only one of the two is actually useful
