not sure where else to post this but I think my mic is dead.
games won't respond to it. the input works (by the headphones).

anyone else experience this? is it covered under the warranty?

One surefire way to check:

Start New Super Mario Brothers

Go to the minigame where you have to blow into the mic to Yoshi him onto the boat.

But the DS up to an AC, or fan, if you have neither, then put the DS up to a fan in the back of your PC.

See if Yoshi was lifted. If not, its busted.

Thanks just realized the mic is broke....I have a 90 in store warranty....can i use that to return it or does the NDSL have to be returned to Nintendo...I would like to wait untill my warranty is closer to being up as i want to see if the black ndsl will come out....

Also please note wether or not your broken MIC belongs to a NDS or a NDSL

You should've gotten the 2 year warranty. It's handheld, even if the device is perfectly made, you/someone else you lend it to might ruin the device.

They cost the same in Japan regardless of the color.
