CHOO CHOO! here comes the PS3 train!
Nintendo better do something huge, same with MS if they want to derail this. I hope Nintendo announces some big news and get some interest back with the Wii. The shock of PS3 price has gone down (much like the first shock of the Nintendo Wii name has died down), and people are starting to look beyond funny names and price tags.
Nintendo better get on the ball again, after a huge E3 they haven't done much to keep the attention off of PS3, and this alone has let PS3 regain it's popularity.

I personally dont think there is room in the next gen for the wii. the whole gaming seems to be going one way and nintendo still expects it can up and change "the way people play games" in one hit. considering they have been the ONE SOLE company which has totally been out of the "true" gaming scene for the past two generations. sure they might have contributed to the videogame industry in the beginning in a big way, but ever since that its not really been a big hit situation. afterall, after the snes what REALLY was the big nintendo console?
they missed out on the media wars, when they chose to go with carts and chose not to go online with their gaming. in the end it cost them storage space and nintedno 64 games look emptier than anything as a result of space restrictions, and their online service attempt to desperately get money out of poor nintendorks with one or two games or support for basically dead licenses like phantasy star has really been shameful for the "high standards' they would have everyone believe.
sure their latest handheld is selling like hotcakes, but there will always be casual fools who OOH AND AAH to a new gadget which lets you touch the screen, but tell me, just HOW MANY games on the nintendo ds are fodder for any TRUE gamer? even goddamned mario doesnt control right in mario 64. all the racing games are basically garbage. all movie or psp tie ins are put to shame by the sony handhelds graphics. and the only thing that they have going is the same old rehashed, renamed s-h-i-t like brain training, that operation game, phoenix wright and oh right....nintendogs (not to mention the USUAL nintendo remakes of old games mario kart).
i am INCREDIBLY unconvinced by what i have seen wiht the wii so far. when something aint broke. dont fix it. and the way people have been playing games for 20 years is not going to change overnight by having a little television remote with one button, flailing your arms around like fools.
but then again the world is full of idiots. however it wouldnt be a big shock if the quality of games on other consoles makes the wii seem like a watered down little sister only girls or kids are ok to be seen with. once again.

Lets hope the ps3 train doesnt crash, taking with it millions who will pay over 600 bucks for a gaming console which looks to rip off the public with an obscene price tag and features which most gamers dont give a flying f**k about.

you have got to remember sony and microsoft are taking hundreds of dollars of loss everytime they sell a system, nintendo makes money off of every system and always has. so nintendo can stick around as long as they want as long as they sell decently, and the Japanese gamers are excited big time for Wii and they already love the DS. I can really see the Wii outselling the PS3 or getting really close in Japan. and we haven't seen any final specs for the Wii yet. and all these developers saying it is underpowered aren't working on the system, thus nintendo hasn't revealed any info to them about the Wii.

And about Choo Choo ...wo hoooo.. NDS is on it's Lite versyon, kicking PSP ass for a long time, and Sony is eating its UMD media gentle and slowly. bet on the long Run, PS3 can turn...anotehr PSP???? Errr, people looking for Funny games on PS3..when that started? Everyone knows PS3 is for the hardcore fan now, better Sony drop the price, people can't forget their "pockets ", even you wish, the tag is there to remember. With PS3 price you will be able to wait, and Buy a Wii AND a Blue Ray player :D , ona couple of months.
