what do you think it does .. its a app for testing games. Basically, its for commerical NDS developers.

They are talking about the latest version, not version 1.3C which was available for a long time

Well after testing 15 good dumps, one worked and that was Bust a Move DS.
It runs @ 15-20fps on my 3ghz cpu

I did patch it earlier too but I did not release it since it was crap and illegal. It seems such stuff goes around quite fast.
Anyway, current version is 1.4d whereas the previous leaked was 1.3c.
'cracked' in this case means the developer authentication was removed.

uh, nope. Can you read my post above?
Plus this thing doesn't even support sound so if you're looking to actually play games with it its not for you. Best bet is to get a real DS.

The think i think is funny is the DS has a touch screen and that to me just wouldn't be the same with a mouse. I mean, How would you ever release a Xbox 360 DS emu?(or any other system)
I really dont see much of a future for NDS emulation. A new DS lite is only $129 new and you can get a SuperCard for $50 and play all your rom's how they were ment to be played.

I think you're missing the point, the emulator is not meant for playing games on it (sure it *can* do it) but is instead a development tool that allows developers to test their code without having to shift their focus from their PC to the DS, it also gives them real-time debug information and may contain other development tools.

DS could be emulated on the Wii. :p
It seems that this emulator need to be patched to accept/emulate final rom (retail one). I guess the emulation *should* be really good after all this time that nintendo spend working on it.

Keep up the good work, Nintendo IntelSys!
I can't wait for a new version. Hopefully they'll up the FPS.
I wonder if they're wanting us to submit bugs or be testers?
(Hah! :p )

Is anyone who is reporting hardly any working ROMs or very slow fps using the latest version (2)?? Or all using the old old version?

I can confirm that bust a move works and thats about it :S
Bleh, I can't get it to work, perhaps due to installing the 1.3c before.

i think these guys are saying theyve hacked the official emulator and havent, simply made an emu that sorta runs commercial roms.
ive seen other emus working better than this one.
