Silent Hill 2 Ripping problem

Hey all, I just picked up a used copy of Silent Hill 2 which LOOKS like it's in great condition, no scratches or anything, but whenever I try to back it up using dvd2xbox there are always 14-16 files that fail to copy. Also, the xbox only recognizes it as a game about 25% of the times i load it... I know I probbly need to find another copy somewhere, but in my area it's pretty damn tough... any suggestions? anyone want to e-mail me the missing files? :)

Try cleaning the DVD drive, with a cleaning disk. What version of DVD2Xbox are you using? If there are any serious scratches on the disk you may be SOL, you could try a cd/dvd repair kit, it has saved more than one of my disks in the past (Damn kids)

:confused: i'm using the newest version, i even tried ripping it as an ISO, but the log has a lot of bad sectors listed... and it took 7 hours...

I really want to play this game, but it ain't gonna happen is it :(

i'll try a dvd cleaner... and pray...
