using trainer

hello out there! i'm a newbie to this trainer stuff so i really appreciate if someone could help me

is there any reason why my xbox wouldn't read cd-rw?
if can't then i cannot paste my trainer into the xbox

The Xbox console has trouble reading diffrent types of media. For example, my xbox will not read Hitachi CD-rw, but it will read Immitation CD-rw. Your best bet is to use DVD's I have had about a 90% success rate with just about every DVD-r I have put in my Xbox. You just have to experment with diffrent media types and find one your Xbox likes. This can get expensive, so I would reccoment you just FTP the files to your Xbox, no cd/dvd needed, just an FTP program, and a connection to your computer.

thank for the reply.i thought no one will help me.but i dont know to FTP
i dont have cable or xbox live and just pretend i will never get those things

As I suggested before, Try a diffrent type of Disk, The DVD drives in teh Xbox are ficle about what they will read. My recomendation, sense you refuse to try and FTP, would be to use DVD's instead of CD's.

On the FTP issue, why not do it, you can purchase a "crossover cable" for just a few dollars (about 6 at circut city) and download an FTP program for free. They are simple to use, I will go as far as helping you (via Instant messanger) set up your network. You will be shocked how much more efficent it is to FTP vice burning a hundred CD's hoping your console will read them.

So what kind a crossover cable i should buy.Can you give me the full name of the cable u use.I hope i dont slip out buying another cable.

Thanks for the info.I have SmartFTP Client 2.0 Can I use this.And by the way Thanks for helping me out.I know somewhere in all these threads there an info about how to FTP. I hope you can guide me to the web page.I appreciate you want to help me but I dont want to put loads on you shoulder.

And by the way why on my xbox D:unknown.I name the disk Trainer and it still show unkown.And I cant access the trainer to copy to my xbox because it stated that access to drive:D is denied

Did you copy the file correctly to the disk. Your Xbox may not like the disk you are using.

Fot the FTP thing here is a great guide. Trust me once you learn how to FTP, you will never use another disk. If you have any issue please post back.

is networking through IE really works.For real that we can just copy and paste after we connect those things?Just use the IE browser and type Xbox IP and copy and paste?

i dont want to look stupid but does the 3ft belkin crossover cable works.i kinda short on the greens

If you are comfortable with a 3 foot cabe then a 3 foot cable it is. Hell you could sue a 3 inch cable if that is all you had.

As for an ftp client, CoreFTP is good and its free, CuteFTP is free trial, and Flash FXP is a free trial version.

well i went to download.com and i found a better downloaded FTP .It is SmartFTP Client 2.0 Now what i gotta do is to read that manual on how to FTP you suggested.If i have a problem or problemS i'll post

i followed the manual.all of it.still cant ftp
when i try to connect...always timed out. why? could u tell me why? im not so good at this.when i connected the cable green light appeared at the xbox port or whatever it is call but damn im just clueless

Dont use FTP programs, are you mad. FTP is the "only" way to transfer files to and from the Xbox. Unless you want to spend all your hard earned dollars of disks every time you want to put somthing on your Xbox.

yahoooooooo! i finally can access my xbox. but i cant paste nfs most wanted trainer neither by ftp client or IE browser. it stated that you must have permission to copy the file. what's up with that . why i dont even need permission to copy other file.fable,dub remix,fight night,all of those just copy and paste easily.why nfs mw need permission and where i can 'ASK' for the permission anyway, heeeeeelp!

nooo i cant be ! i cant download trainer .when i click the 'download' nothing happen.theres no link. i cant open the download window or whatever it is.i just succeed ftp then i cant download trainer.what is wrong with me .is there anyone know where to get winRAR for free

The type of media an Xbox will read varies between Xboxes. Your best bet would be to DVD-r or FTP the information to your console. If you are unfamilar with the FTP process, e-mail me and Ill explain it further.

i know about xboxsaves.i went to the site i know it doesnt provide enough trainer.all of them just last year trainer.come on.we in 2006 now.i need trainer.could somebody please tell me how to solve this.either it is my pc or this site that make me cant download trainer.please,i really need some help!
