Here's another one of those speculated Wii release dates which is most likely just a filler. Walmart have put online some Wii titles and have a date set of October 2nd set on them as shown below. The specific date of Octiber 2nd seems to imply they know more than the rest of us...

The $0.82 is pretty standard pricing procedure for Walmart. So when people are browsing the Sunday Ads they see the Game is $49.99 at all the other stores, but it's $49.82 at Walmart people go out of thier way to save 17 cents, but then end up spending more cash on other worthless Walmart junk.

just cause the games are being released don't mean the console will be -> consider the 360 contest.

Are you kidding me?
Nintendo's consoles and handhelds are the best built, and toughest, of any company. Their warranties and customer support are also among the best.
There may be problems with the hinges on some of the DS lites, but it is not by any means a big problem, because if it was, Nintendo would know about it, and fix it for free.

i have only had to deal with nintendo once since i got a nes back in the day, and it was my fat ds red mario kart edition. the mic didn't seem to work, probably a bad soder or something, anyways i never had such an easy phone call. ask me what was wrong and when i bought it to make sure it was withing a year and then told me i had to options. i chose the one that takes longer and including the weekend still had my ds back in 6 days total, i'm not talking business days, but sent it in on a friday and got it back the following thursday. i can see them not wanting to replace something if it is cosmetic. that sucks but if it turns into something the actually makes the hing stop functioning right, i would expect after a while that they will realize whats going on and start fixing or replacing them. nintendo is known for there amazing customer service, so they might be in the dark about this problem but give it a few weeks and i think nintendo will start fixing these problems as long as it is more than cosmetic.
