Could someone please post one? Or point me in the right direction. I think this site sould have one on it, so I think one should be posted. It is my understanding that you can put a hdd in your ps2 and use this application to run homebrew and backups from the hard drive. Is this accurate? Is it hard to do?

You can run Homebrewapps from your HDD,also Backups arent a problem when you have a ps2 v1-v13.
On v14 machines (newest slimline psTwo) you only can start backups from an usb hdd and this suxxx.

Did you have an Modchip?

You can add your apps also on mem card, this is not the problem.
Installation via USB or FTP is the best job.

No I don't have a mod chip. Well I had a magic 3.1 and decided sodering onto exsisting chip leads was a little to much for me. It was my understanding from something I read that you didn't need one. You could just use the program and play backed up games and homebrew from the hdd.

Ah,ok when you need the HdLoader or HDAdvance. But note that this CD/DVD Version arenīt really cool, because they have not so much features like the hacked one which you can use with the modchips.
Also the compatibility isnīt really good!
The LBA Settings arenīt also poor.
Iīm not sure, but the original hdloader can only work with 119 gb capacity, the hacked one allowed you to use hddīs with space up to 300gb.
