RunUMD not Working properly

Hey guys,

I downloaded Syphon Filter Daxed iso, which needs to be run with RunUMD, however when I boot it up I get greeted with the normal RunUMD screen.

Where you can press O, or X, pressing O copies files, than later gives me an error extracting, but I got the X folder anyways

But pressing the X button doesn't do ****, my MS light flashes once, than moments later my PSP shuts down

This happends WITH ALL ISO's that have to be run through RunUMD.

So my question is; Somone knows what's wrong and has a Fix.

Or someone has a link to the Original Ripped ISO, so I can run it with DevHook, which is the only loader that never lemme down.

PS. I swapped PSP's ( got two ) it won't work on the other one either :(

well, why dont you just re-rip your legal copy of syphon filter, and simply run on devhook? thats the easiest way in my opinion. i think theres also a ppf patch you will need to apply after ripping, so go to MeetjoeBlack's thread on this.

Ah, that's a option, though the thing is, I don't know how to rip the game yet, and it doesn't work with ANY iso, not just Syphon Filter.

It should work, but it doesn't that's my main concern.

what do you mean it doesnt work? aint you heard of MPH's UMD ripper, or also fastloader 0.7? they both can rip all umd's!

try this out and then your game will work, definately....

I got the same problem! Did you menage to resolve it?I can't play lemmings too with runUMD mode and even with dax can't play any iso that requires the runUMD Loadexec boot!About Syphon filter i tried the iso too but when it reboots the system i receive "Unable to read UMD" mex!What's that??

hey,

is it untouched? have you tried with the new devhhook release? it should work with devhook.
