Are you just burning the GCM or ISO as a file onto the discs? If so, you're doing it wrong.

So far, I've had fantastic success with the program ImgBurn. It'll burn the ISO as the disc. Try it out instead of whatever you're using currently.

ok i played with the pot and i got it to work. My concern now is that it worked with the pot set to 66:eek: Would this be a bad thing?

yes, it's reccomended to NOT set it lower than 80 ohms. You should set it around 160-210(it works most). If POT is set lower than 80, it will get more power and heat up more untill the laser is dead.

I´m using Nero (ver. 6.6) to burn (when I tried nero 7 it fucked up, dont know why), and its working perfect.
Start Nero and go to recorder and then burn image (.iso NOT .gcm) if it says .gcm at the end, only rewrite it to .iso, simply as that.
And I use traxdata to burn on, very good discs, not a problem with them.
