Flashed Qoob Pro Bios 1.3c, still displays sw1.3a, what am I doing wrong?

Hi,

I tried flashing the Qoob Pro bios version 1.3c several times, but when I boot my Gamecube it still displays SW1.3A on the bootup screen.

I have no idea what I am doing wrong as it does not report that the flash was not successful.


Any ideas?

Try erasing the BIOS section with the Flasher, then re-flash it with the 1.3c BIOS.

You could also try flashing it via DVD instead of USB, or vesa versa.

Could it be the version of the Flasher im using? because I already tried doing that many times without success.

Where can I download the latest version just to be sure?

With the version of 1.3c that I downloaded, a new flasher was included. I personally used that one without much trouble. I also flashed from what was available from Qoob's site to 1.3c with nothing inbetween.

The flasher that came with the copy of 1.3c that I got was "modified" on May 14th of 2005, according to Windows XP's information thingier. It should be 76kb in size (77,824 bytes) with a name of qoob-flash-13.exe
