New UMD Dumper only dumps UMD games, it does NOT dump firmware. If you dump a firmware with a firmware dumping tool, it dumps the firmware FILES and does not make your PSP a higher firmware. This allows you to EMULATE the firmware without it upgrading your PSP.

You CAN boot directly from the disc using the new Device Hook 0.41d, altho if you want to emulate the ISO, you dump the UMD (THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FIRMWARE). Since it requires a higher firmware to play, you load it up with Device Hook 0.41d, and bam, it loads. Use the installer that comes with devhook and the upgrade EBOOT to dump the firmware to your memory stick and you'll be good to go.

Check the easyiso 1.1 kit for a easy package to get started.

In the thread there is a RAR file, in that is the instructions, and items to copy to your PSP, and PC tools for use. The instructions are detailed and fully explain how to install DevHook AND DAX ZISO on your PSP so that they are fully working. After you have followed all of taht, if you are confused about the settings inside of the application, post back and I will post exact settings to use.

Just put DATA.PSAR to the root of your memory stick then run the devhook installer on your PSP. Then you'll be ready to go ;)!

This procedure will NOT change your PSP firmware, you are good to go.
