Deadf1sh has uploaded a video to Youtube which shows a DS Lite running the homebrew media player called MoonShell (<a href="http://www.maxconsole.net/?mode=news&newsid=7924" target="_blank">info</a>) doing a funky LED dance when the volume button has been pushed excessively. They (LED's) are seemingly dancing in rhythm too - how cool!

When you push the volume of your ds lite a little too much in Moonshell, the led start to dance in rythm!! Don't think it has been made on purpose..

To me, it just looks like his battery just happened to be on the verge of getting low and spikes in processor usage through Moonshell during times of high volume caused the estimated battery life to be low enough for the DS to show a red power LED. I could be wrong, but this is what I consider to be the cause.

that's exactly what i though when i saw it, although it could be possible... i'm assuming that it's the software that tells the led to blink during wi-fi modes so there could be a function that controls the leds. as a matter of fact I'm pretty sure there's a function for this sort of thing inn PAlib. even so, i'm almost positive it's the battery thing in this case
