The Nintendo Wii Classic Controller's Big Secret

A video shows what the commentator calls a 'secret' on the Wii's classic controller. The guy testing out the controller pushes a button on the top of the controller and this appears to open the doors so to speak and releases whatever is attached. Duh duh duhhhhhh.........

What could possibly attach to the remote that needs releasing in such a way ? Let the speculation commence...

maybe a rumble pack? if the classic controller on it's own does not have a rumble feature (judging by it's thin profile it would be hard to imagine rumble built into it), then it could have a rumble pack that snaps on there just like the old N64 controller

Off-Topic : Oh my, Nintendo should evaluate a remake to Mario 64 with better graphics, extras, more levels, etc, I am sure could be a great hit. I jsut find Mario amazing to its own time. Or Launch a franchise like Mario & Luigi Super Star Saga on Wii. Sure they are kiddy, but f**ck they are great games.
In-topic: Is like a an attachment device, to fix the controller soemwhere, or something on the controller, maybe one of the motion sensor devices attach there..so you can use the pad with motion sensor (???????), or part of the nunchaku there.

Play DS games on the Wii via the controller and the ports on the bottom of it...

Altho how would you use the touch screen?

Orrr, u plug in the DS game in the SNES type pad, then use the WiiMote to play it and use it like the bottom (touch) screen of the DS!

Dunno if that would work tho heh

The controller can have rumble built in. The slim profile means nothing ... my cell phone is just over a 1/4 inch thick and it rumbles/vibrates. Even does it during certain games and certain ringtones.

My quess is that you can attatch something to it :) and where all going to be VERY disappointed as to what it really is used for. Prolly just some silly attatchment.
