Play Set PS3 Order Price At £549.99 (With three games)

Leading UK online retailer 'Play' has put up the 60GB PS3 for pre-order at a price of £549.99 ($1017), while the package comes complete Formula One 06, Warhawk and Singstar it is still incredibly expensive and if retailers pursue selling 'bunles only', it looks like UK gamers will really need to take a few shifts working as Santa this year. Play say stocks will be extremely limited and pre-orders will be filled on a first come first served basis. So looks like if you want to get your hands on the PS3 from these guys in the UK, you're gonna be roped into buying a bunch of titles that you may not want.

The PS3 is being dubbed as more than a games console, yet this bundle clearly indicates it's for one thing - video games. If they're going to charge such a price for a bundle, perhaps they should throw in some stuff which would allow you to get the most out of this 'super computer' which is the PS3.

3 games-150 £50 easch-colse to 80-90$ per game, dont compare these to us dollars, europe is MUCH MUCH ritcher than USA and most of the world, especially the u.k

i've already pre-ordered my ps3 almost a month ago at a local fye, im #8 on the list, and i only have to buy one game when it release which isn't bad because i was gonna buy a game anyways
