PS2 Live

Listen I got A PS2 on the other side of this room.. now I'm on the computer on this side of the room and this computer runs off of wireless internet.. does anyone know if I can plug a LAN Line into this computer and then plug the other end in the PS2 and still get PS2 Live?

Ps2 Live? You mean the Playstation Online Network?
I dont know everything about an wireless lan adapter for the ps2,but when you installed the ps2 to an wireless router with a cable it must be work !

I don't thik you understand, because my wireless router has nothing to do with this... I drew a diagram to show you how I want the system to work:

The green indicates the wireless internet waves throughout my house.. now on the top of this picture we have my computer with the little blue spot that indicates my wireless adapter. and the red is an OUTPUT of a LAN line that begins at my computer tower and ends at my PS2. I just want to know if it's possible to use a regular LAN Line to OUTPUT internet through the LAN line to my computer. I am asking this because LAN lines are usually used to plug internet straight into your computer do you understand?

You have only one networkcard in your pc and you want to use this for 2 connections you must have a router,switch or a second networkcard/port.

in case you don't understand I'll try explaining it again, the router sends signals to the PC and the PC is attatched to a LAN Line that instead of taking internet signals for the PC itself it's sending signals to the PS2 (Through LAN Line) I hope that clarified it I'm really horrible when it comes to explaining complicated things lol.. All I want to know is if that plan is possible thats all...

Yep it is possible =) I think i understand u. So, you have a wireless router and you recieve it using a Wireless card? You also have a ethernet card for wire networking wich is connected to the ps2.
You simply must tell your wireless card to share its internet.
Go to Your windows configuration screen and select "network connections"
Here you should see your wireless connection and your ps2 connection.
right click the wireless one and select properties. Goto the advanced tab and select the option for sharing your internet.
Also verry important, if you connect your ps2 directly to a lan card you must use a crossed utp cable! normal cables wont work since you are doing a peer to peer connection on your ps2. a crossed cable is a normal cable but the heads are eachothers opposite. If you never made a crossed cable just goto you local computer shop and ask a crossed cable of the lenght you desire.

ok ok I obtained a crossover cable... to be precise it's a Cat 5E Crossover cable (radioshack brand) the question is HOW DOES THIS WORKK!!!! on the bottom right-hand side of my monitor the local area connection says "limited or no connectivity" I'm pretty much stuck here can some one give me a hand PLEEEAAASSEEEE!?!?!?!?!?!? thank you
