I've tried every method that is posted on this site and others and every time I try to load a game, I get the black screen after devhook reboots. All I need is for the people who got the loader working to reply with either yes or no.
Thanks.

1. Get files needed. Devhook .41 with fix, pbp unpacker, 2.0 and 2.5 eboot.
2. open 2.0 eboot with pbp unpacker and extract the data.psar.
3. open 2.5 eboot with pbp unpacker and extract the data.psar.
4. format memory card.
5. copy 'dh' folder to root of memory stick.
6. copy 4 files in psp/game to memory stick.
7. copy 2.0 data.psar to root of memory stick.
8. exit usb mode, unplug usb wire from psp, and run devhook installer.
9. press 'O' once to start, press 'O' again to copy two files, press 'O' again to finish
10. go back to usb mode and copy 2.5 data.psar to root of memory stick, overwriting 2.0 data.psar.
11. exit usb mode, unplug usb wire, and launch devhook installer.
12. press 'O' once to start, press 'O' again to copy two files, press 'O' once more to exit out of program.
13. connect usb wire once more, copy reboot.bin from dh/200 to dh/250 overwriting the one already in dh/250.
14. copy 2.0/2.5 iso game to 'ISO' folder.
15. disconnect usb wire and launch devhook.
16. settings are set to 2.xx->2.00, 2.00+2.50, iso selected ...

I still get the black screen.
I tried at least 4 different times, none have worked.
All I need is for you to reply with yesses or nos.
ex. 1.Y 2.Y 3.Y ... 16.Y

thanks again.

1. Select umd select to iso you want
2. select UMd Mount to ISO Any UMD
3. UMD Version to 2.xx -> 2.00
4 Firmware to 2.50
5. Boot Select to Reboot XMB

Should no work ok had same problem myself but found the above now always works ok.

Hope this helps

I use those settings, I've even tried other settings.

1 Question: Did you get the black screen too, then you changed the settings, and then it worked?

I suggest you try a 2.5 game first then you can rule out if it's a problem with just your installation.

Those settings always work, use those as he said. Booting to 2.5 mode will work with most everything, I suggest using it. If you still have problems make SURE you are using the newest version of DevHook and REDUMP your firmware (you really only need the 2.5 firmware).

I finally got the loader to work. All I did was use the "dh" folder after downloading the package from this thread:
http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=22570

Use the same method as before.
It even works with only the 2.5 firmware installed.

(It works if after you install the 2.5 firmware, the data.psar disappears from the root of the memory stick.)
