Datel & MU Question

ive just spent $55 for them. and, i cant get the gamesaves from my pc to the MU. i hope i didnt blow $55 for this stuff. and it must NOT require not taking anything apart.

Oh,i think you have installed the XChange360 Software from Datel??

The Datel software is really ****,you cant read and write saves to your unit/pc.
You can only make a full backup,so you must set your PC back to the Date before you have installed Datels XChange360 Software!
Xplorer360Beta also doesnt work,because the memunit is no an USBIO Device.

An deinstallation doesnt work because Datels Software installed a lot more things when only the XChange360 Software (USBIO etc.).
So set your PC back to the Date before installing this **** and when use:

Xplorer360Beta4 from www.360gamesaves.com !;)
To prepare your MemoryUnit look at this guide:

(only installings the Unit,you dont must solder everything ;) )

I cant read nothing about the XChange360 Software,so this is the first thing i think about it.

no their crappy software isnt installed. i just want to get saves for the games i have.

Hehe,this games unlocks achievments with no problems :D!
Did you have installed the MemoryUnit correctly to your PC?
Have you used the USB Driverpack for the 360MEMUnit?

i had the datel crap insalled. so i did a system restore.

To install the Memory Unit use this guide from 360gamesaves.com (some modifity saveames are also online from me to unlock some achvies for your games ;) :D ) :

At first i had the same problem with the fucked up DatelXchange Software :D !



EDIT: Do not use a Far Cry Savegame before you have backuppt your own save,the new installed gives no achievs, i have tested 2 minutes ago! ;)

You dont must take anything apart,but you must install the driver.
And you need XplorerBeta4.

thx for the help. its now working. when i open up the MU. it has 2 partitions. which one do i put the gamesaves?

ive put in the saves. and they are not showing up when i put te MU in the 360.

Partion1/ Content/ then you have some Folders in it like:

00000000000000blabla(in this folder are specific things like themes,gamerpics etc. )
and the other/or one of the other:


E000004864561687651 (this is the folder where your profil is in,and in this you must copy the savegames)!

Note: When you have all of your saves and profiles moved to the harddisc you doesn´t see anything,maybe 000000000000 is displayed! ;)

So,now you open your Profilfolder and you must see a lot of folders, some of them called:

425307D1 (this is Oblivion)
534507D5 (FullAuto)
454107DC (Burnout Revenge)
FFFE07D1 (your profildates look NOTE)

every folder has Savegames in it! ;)

Note: DONT DELETE FOLDER "FFFE07D1" in this folder is your profil with all informations like gamescore etc.
Before you delete it,make a backup or go ONLINE via XBOX LIVE so you can!;)

To copy savegames to your unit you must open

EXAMPLE: 425307D1 (Oblivion ;) )

and you see another Folder called:

0000000001

when you open 00000001 you see the savefiles and now you can start to copy the saves from www.360gamesaves.com !;)
Make everytime a backup from your old saves,and when you have unlockt some new GamerScorePoints/Achievments, make a backup of your profil folder:

FFFE07D1

All time safety first! ;)



when you have more then only one profil you must look which profil is that you search.
But you can also make it simple,copy all your Files from the memory unit to your XBox360 Harddrive (only the profil you want to take;) ) and so you have the backup on your 360 and the profil you want on your memory unit.

Following the fall xbox live update the transfer of saves between gamers has become redundant. Only very few still work.

All saves are now console locked and transfer and use of saves will render them corrupt.

People are working on a solution to this. If you have a non-updated console then you are in luck.
