Sony E3 Conference Video Remix

Ok, please hold off on your fanboy comments and so forth. Someone has gone to the trouble of making a pretty damn fine edit of the Sony E3 conference, in which they rather hilariously 'trip up' Sony. There is some really funny stuff in here, regardless if your are the biggest PS3 fanboy - it will make you laugh. Just watch it...but remember such a remix could've been made for Microsoft or Nintendo (perhaps) but seeing as Sony has been the top dog previously, it's more fun for people to take some of their shine off ;).

but really saying "don't get a PS3, get a wii and a xbox360 instead" is like playing blackjack, and splitting two tens lol

i'm a big nintendo fan, and i really like microsoft as well, but I also like Sony, and I think their console costs a lot, but also delivers a lot, sometimes it's not enough to say "don't spend too much money, get 2 smaller things instead" because you will end up spending the same for a Wii and a Xbox360, but none of them will be the same as 1 PS3... so you will have spent $600USD but not be able to do what the PS3 can do... now when you think of it like that, does it still make sense?

Not making fun of you or second guessing you, but what can a PS3 do that can't be done on the other systems other then Bluray? I personally don't see anything coming from Sony's camp that hasn't been done already or isn't being done currently by its competitors. Especially anything nothing that $600 for one system with a movie format that has many, many factors working against it and is no were near certain to be around in 5 years.

Exactly. There's Assassin's Creed, which was previously announced for the 360 before Sony purchased a (likely time limited) exclusive license. There's MGS4, whose developer has said is possible to do as well on the 360, and may eventually get there anyways like MGS2 did. Square is developing for the 360, and GTA4 is getting the same launch dates on both consoles. There's also more RPGs in development for Microsoft's console this generation, while the Forza sequel compares quite well to the GT sequel. The performance of the better games is even comparable between the two.

I'm not saying that the PS3 will never have decent exclusives, but its price will likely be lower by the time that happens.
