Team Xecuter: Xbox 360 Region Free Games

Team Xecuter have compiled a list of Xbox 360 region free games from all three NTSC/U, NTSC/J, and PAL regions. We don't think its the complete list, but well at least its some good info!


We have been asked by a number of forum members to post a list of games that will work on other region Xbox 360's (I think the problem has been with PAL users - as the SS's released online are not necessarily the correct SS as some of the PAL releases are different - but all the NTSC USA are the same). Here is a list we found - hope you find it useful.

Note: In order for controllers to work correctly in many region-free games from North America or Japan played on a PAL TV through a composite cable, the system's video settings must be set to PAL 60

<b>NTSC/U - North American Games</b>

* Amped 3 (NTSC/U) works on PAL systems, NOT on NTSC/J systems
* Blazing Angels (NTSC/U) works on PAL & NTSC/J systems
* Call of Duty 2 (NTSC/U) works on PAL & NTSC/J(Japan only) systems , NOT on NTSC/J(HK/TW/SP) systems
* Condemned: Criminal Origins (NTSC/U) works on PAL & NTSC/J systems
* Dead or Alive 4 (NTSC/U) works on PAL systems, NOT on NTSC/J systems - needs 60 Hz
* Far Cry Instincts: Predator (NTSC/U) works on PAL
* Full Auto (NTSC/U) works on PAL & NTSC/J systems
* Gun (NTSC/U) works on PAL & NTSC/J systems
* Quake 4 (NTSC/U) works on PAL & NTSC/J systems
* Ridge Racer 6 (NTSC/U) works on PAL systems - needs 60 Hz
* Rumble Roses XX (NTSC/U) works on NTSC/J systems
* Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (NTSC/U) works on PAL & NTSC/J systems
* Tomb Raider: Legend (NTSC/U) works on PAL & NTSC/J systems
* Tony Hawk's American Wasteland (NTSC/U) works on PAL & NTSC/J systems

<b>NTSC/J - Japanese/Asian Games</b>

* Call of Duty 2 (NTSC/J) works on NTSC/U & PAL systems
* Far Cry Instincts: Predator (NTSC/J) works on NTSC/U & PAL systems
* Gun (NTSC/J) works on NTSC/U & PAL systems
* Quake 4 (NTSC/J) works on NTSC/U & PAL systems
* Tomb Raider: Legend (NTSC/J) works on NTSC/U & PAL systems
* Tony Hawk's American Wasteland (NTSC/J) works on NTSC/U & PAL systems

<B>PAL - European/Australian Games</b>

* Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (PAL) works on NTSC/U systems but NOT on NTSC/J systems

* Gun (PAL) works on NTSC/U systems but NOT on NTSC/J systems

if its region free and correctly ss patched it should work ??

Well, it says...

Call of Duty 2 (NTSC/U) works on PAL & NTSC/J(Japan only) systems , NOT on NTSC/J(HK/TW/SP) systems.

So, if we are to believe this list.. then, yes CoD2 NTC will run on PAL consoles too.

as far as i understand this list refeers to the org. gamediscs.
the question is will the ntsc(region free) games work on a hacked pal console.
i tend to think yes,would be logic but who knows?!

Highly unlikely - all EA games to date are region locked.
