ok my psp is not turning off fully. When i turn it off there is still alittle green light left. When i turn it on it hits X like a turbo button sometimes. Without an AC adapter plugged in, I am unable to exit(home -> exit) probably the X button problem related.

I also upgraded from 1.50 to 2.00 to see if it was a firmware or flash problem, didnt help.

anyone got any pointers????

This Happened to me as well here is what I did to fix it, this worked for my psp I bought it in the USA.

1.)Take out the battery from the back of the unit
2.)Put battery back in, and take out your memory stick
3) Put memory stick back in slot, Power up the PSP
4.)Restore to default settings, format memory stick

These four steps worked for me you may have to do this a few times but this will eventally work and the green light will disapear when the unit is powered off.

hopes that helps

open that ***** and clean it with alcohol or with aceton!
the right side of your PSP (where the on/off switch is!and where the X button is)
sry dude the only way to be at 1.50 or you get a 2.01+
