Xbox 360 SS Merger - SS in WxRipper Images

Gas-o has released a very simple application that will allow you to insert Security Sectors (SS) on raw image dumps made with WxRipper. According to 'Albert' who emailed us regarding this release, you only need the file with the SS and the ISO file and then press merge. Then you need to rename the patched ISO to IMAGE.000 and use the IMAGE.dvd (from the hacked firmware pack) to burn it with clonecd.

How do you burn with clonecd? All i get is IMAGE.000 could not be found.

EDIT: Figured it out. You need to download this http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.p...D969C12334279F0
and when you merge your SS and WXripped iso's it will automatically create a .DVD cue sheet for you to burn with clone cd.

Do the SS.bin patches that have been released work if you patch the scene releases of the games or do you need to patch images that created yuorself?

If its a 'good' rip of the SS then you can use that. Thats what ive been using.

SS merger 1.1. You can get it anywhere now anyway.

Does that mean:
If you have the security sector from a specific game you could use wxRipper to dump that specific game, use the ss merger to patch the iso with the security sector and actually play it - using the hacked firmware drive ?

Conclusion:
No more need for pluging the hacked firmware drive onto pc.
All we need are correctly dumped security sectors :)

Yes, but ive wasted about 3 dl disks already through using Australian PAL SS files instead of UK PAL ones. Much safer to just make your own.

Hmm ... But for making your own security sectors you have to plug the drive into the pc again :rolleyes:

Ain't there a way to get hold of one games security sector through hotswap method :confused: ?
