I saw the post saying it runs perfect with Dax / Dev GL
But in bioth cases, I got the game to the very 1st loading scene and it hangs exictly where it is everytime.
I'm sure I've done what it said in the instruction with all the right settings.
Can someone help?
(Could it be that I've got a damaged ISO?)

I had the same problem at first mate, but i noticed that i needed to copy my flash0 and flash1 folder from my ms0://MPHGameLoader/ folder to ms://DAXZISO folder.
Then load with MPHGL Loadexec With Ram ON
This should work for you now. ;)

Right, i hope this helps you guys out a bit.
I first extracted the original iso using winrar.
Then i DELETED the update folder, then DELETED the filepad.tmp file.
Then i over wrote all the prx files with ones from Starwars Battlefront2.
Then i rebuilt the iso using UMDGen3.01, i found that with vcdromx it wouldnt work.
Then i loaded the iso from Dax 6.01, using MPHGL Loadexec With Ram ON.
Let me know how you got on. ;)

I had so much trouble with this game it is unreal!!
It may be an idea, to backup your memstick and format it. Maybe even restore default settings on your psp.
Then try my method above.
If it is not this, it could possibly be your firmware dump.
I honestly spent the whole weekend trying to get this to work!!

The best way is to make it yourself mate.
It is easy to do, just follow this thread.

I had the same problem as you.. I then used devhook 0.32a in exitvsh mode then opened dax ziso 0.62 in the XMB and loaded with mph loadexec. when it started up i noticed that they showed the intro video (it didnt previously) and it worked perfectly fine
EDIT:I've added a guide in the next post on how to make it work. I forgot that i could just edit this post

Ok I've figured out how to get the game going in a more.. organised manner.
First off, I'd like to say that a dax compressed iso doesn't work for me. If you still want to compress it however, I suggest getting the original iso and using Booster's ciso tool to compress it.(It's included in devhook 0.32) It's only about 10mb more than the daxed version.
Loading both .cso(compressed using the ciso tool) and .iso on the psp is well, the same. I'm assuming you want to use it without UMD.
1.Copy the .cso or .iso into ms0:\ISO (ISO folder in the root of the mem stick)
2.Make sure you have devhook 0.32a and MPH Game Loader v1.1
3.Start up your psp and open devhook 0.32a
4.Select the NBA Ballers:Rebound cso or iso and start it in exitVSH mode. If you're using the cso i recommend switching your cpu clock to 333/165. If not your framerate might drop at certain times. (Because of the compression)
5.You will go back to the XMB (main screen). Check that there is the UMD icon under game.
6.If there isn't the UMD icon (which just happens i don't know why), turn the psp off and repeat steps 3 - 4.
7.There should be the UMD icon this time. Open MPH Game Loader v1.1 in the XMB and NBA Ballers: Rebound should start in a while.
Note: Using alt. gear causes my psp to hang at the loading screens. So if it happens to you as well, just don't use alt. gear. I hope I've helped =)
