Looks good, I was wondering how I was going to play the classics with such a odd controller. Thanks for breaking the news.

*ahem* dual shock anyone?
lol seriously i think this is a great classic type controller, although eerily similar to a dual shock, but hey sony did steal nintendo's motion sensing idea (and Sony did a poor job from what some people have said), so why can't Nintendo "flatter" Sony with an imitation of their own :D
Next-Gen console cat fight YES PLEASE!!!
lol back like sony/sega days and sega/nintendo days...

I'm serously digging the controller, I need more info! :)
This E3 has been weird so far. Nintendo and Microsoft have been good, but haven't shown anything insanely cool thus far, and Sony just punched themselves in the nuts.

the problem I have with RF controllers is they all even the wavebird have a noticeable lag IR ones dont seem to have that problem but noone uses that teck anymore because of its blockability (witch I feel is a shame)
sept with xbox controllers were the wired one seem to have lag already that is about the same with the unwired ones (Am I the only one that noticed this?)

Man does no one remember that Nintendo was the FIRST to use both the D pad (they own the patent) and the analog jostick on a console (3d joystick not an Atari one, lol). Sony is the ones who ripped off Nintendo every step of the way even with there half assed PS3 motion controler.

it looks a lot like the SNES controller with joysticks...the snes controller was a good classic design, so no not copying sony AT ALL

Anyone noticed the new controller's side buttons are very well distributed now? Think about, since Snes , the configuration a +b and x + y, had worked so fine, that Sony made the same distribution and made the analog after it.
Well, now Nintendo refreshed its retro version, and you need only 1 finger to press both Side buttons on righ, or 1 finger to press both side button at left. Same when u were holding Y, and pressing B to jump ( run Mario runnn!!) with ur thumb . Or holding square and pressing "x" on PS1&2. Looks very interisting! Thumbs up!

i dont remember using a gamecube controller...so im gonna go ahead and say: i believe nintendo took out the c buttons from n64 and turned it into a second analog?..then bringing back the original snes shape and design..cept with two new analogs?
nintendo wii: two analogs, one dpad, 4 buttons (abxy?), three more buttons (LRZ)..and i think one more button (to balance out the Z button)
start, select, and something in the middle...
i think its enough buttons:)...cant want for it to come out..the thing im really looking foward to is someone figuring out a way to play n64 roms on it (rather than downloading them..for im guessing the same as retail price? lol...dont quote me on that, im just guessing...if it is WAY CHEAPER than retail n64 titles...then for sure, i will download them all for a fee...but free is always better;))
EDIT: only bad thing i seen was, in a video preview...the guy was basically holding the controller with 3 fingers...kinda small..isnt it?
