hey,
If your PSP is ever bricked, you will experience something like this. Whenever you turn on your PSP, The green light comes on, but the memory stick light doesnt flash and the screen doesnt turn on, and after a few seconds, it turns itself off.
are these the problems you are experiencing? Reply back with results.

hey,
hey there, like the other guy said, there might be something up insde the PSP. try taking the battery out for a few mins and turn on the psp without it. if not working, put the battery in and try again. theres no other way im afraid, or you can get a CAREFUL person to open it up and look around for loose connections. That is probably whats wrong. Try these and see what happens. Remember, you need a person good with electronics, you dont want to go messing it up even more. You can try via sony but:
1) They will upgrade it to 2.60 fw
2) Costs a bit too...
hope i could help, good luck with getting it up n' runnin again

Try the fuse in the mains charger plug!
This happened to me, thought I'd bricked mine playing around with the new Dax loader, when the psp switched off while loading through Dax and would not turn back on
Plugged it into the charger and Nothing
Spent the next 2hrs beating myself up that I'd just bricked £200! and that I'd have to spend the next week trawling through eBay to get another 1.5
Later, with a clearer head I checked the fuse in the mains charger, and it worked! :)
Turned out the Battery had gone flat with no warning and the charger fuse must have blown when I plugged it in.
If this does not work for you then I feel your pain, as you could have bricked it.
All the best!

Things like this happen a lot. The psp seems to fix itself after a bit of time. If it doesn't fix itself after 24 hours, flick on the power, then hold the power button for more than 10 seconds. Hopefully should resolve the problem.

well its not cause its not working that its " bricked ", I am sure that theres a way to fix it and that no one has the solution YET, try to get your PSP returned if you bought it at EB games I am sure they'll let you have another one, else u might have to wait..

Had a similar problem getting my isos to work, all you need to do is unplug everything from the PSP, remove the battery cover, remove the battery, wait 10 seconds, put the battery back in, turn on the psp.
If this does not work, do the same as above without the memory stick in and you should be back up.
Hope this helps.

What if your PSP IS Bricked? Is there ABSOLTUTELY NOTHING you can do:(
Heres the sitch
When I turn on my PSP the light comes on, no screen comes on no memory light flashing and the power light stays on forever unless I I turn it off.
If I called them and sent Mine down for replacement they would be able to know that it IS bricked if it is?

No this is completly avoidable, simply DO NOT try to downgrade your psp unless someone you know has used the exact same downgrading tool with the same firmware as yours and THEIR PSP did NOT get bricked. I don't actualy KNOW any of this, but if your PSP is particularly bricked it is YOUR fault so it is fairly avoidable.
I brought mine back(to Target) and got a replacement psp, They had no idea it was bricked They just let me get another one for free :) (receipts talk[lol you know its a joke as opposed to money talks])
