Hello All,
I have 2 questions concerning software-modding an XBOX using the "how to install Pheonix Loader" (http://www.maxconsole.com/?mode=tutorials&feed=xbox&itemid=87) tutorial.
under required hardware, option 2 section, it says you can use an action replay or a converted memory unit to do this option. I want to go the converted memory unit route, but i have a question about the dongle referred to later on in the step. it says to plug in the action replays dongle but if im using the converted memory unit, how do i do this step?
My 2nd question concerns XBOXLIVE. i want to modify my XBOX for the homebrew media players like the XBmedia player and stuff so i dont haveta buy a bunch of seperate players or tv cards or whatever, but then again I would like to play a game on XBOX Live in the future. I know you have to use retail games on XBOXLIVE and stuff, but I also know they ban modified boxes if it detects them. the chipped guys have a switch to turn the chip off so they arent detected, but what about us software-modded people? What protection method do we use to keep from getting banned?
Any help you can give me on this would be appreciated, thanks
