Hello All,

I have 2 questions concerning software-modding an XBOX using the "how to install Pheonix Loader" (http://www.maxconsole.com/?mode=tutorials&feed=xbox&itemid=87) tutorial.

under required hardware, option 2 section, it says you can use an action replay or a converted memory unit to do this option. I want to go the converted memory unit route, but i have a question about the dongle referred to later on in the step. it says to plug in the action replays dongle but if im using the converted memory unit, how do i do this step?

My 2nd question concerns XBOXLIVE. i want to modify my XBOX for the homebrew media players like the XBmedia player and stuff so i dont haveta buy a bunch of seperate players or tv cards or whatever, but then again I would like to play a game on XBOX Live in the future. I know you have to use retail games on XBOXLIVE and stuff, but I also know they ban modified boxes if it detects them. the chipped guys have a switch to turn the chip off so they arent detected, but what about us software-modded people? What protection method do we use to keep from getting banned?

Any help you can give me on this would be appreciated, thanks

ok m8 as for the 1st question, lemme answer number 2 first

U wanna use XBOX LIVE, Buy a REAL chip, so u can turn it OFF, once the XBOX is Xploited, u cannot UnXploit it, unless u Run the Xploit back in again, and for what its worth im sure u will agree, that with a chip, the ability to flip the switch on or off is far less hassle

As for question 1, im NOT too sure, i personally just hot swap a friends HDD into my Modded XBOX then FTP the Xploit files across to HIS HDD whilst its in MY Xbox thats the quickest way of doing this and i see results every time M8, Memo card Hacked ?? i never seem B4 LoL,

Lemme go and look at them tutorials M8 ;)
