*.nds to *.ds.gba

Some *.ds files don't run on my M3 SD but all (don't have one that doesn't for now) *.ds.gba do!
What's up with that?!?!?!
Also is there a *.nds to *.ds.gba file converter? Where can I find it?

makke sure ur nds game is not named blah.ds ... it gotta be .nds.. and when u convert it it turns to .nds.dsq

No I'm not talking about games files: they work great.
I was talking about homebrew files with the *.nds extension.

By the way "convert" with what?
