Installing Ripper IV on V10

hi all!

I'm new here and hope this post is on the right side!

I'm trying to install RIpper IV modchip on my PS2 V10 board. My question is where are the alternative points located on board to be soldered? Can those M.N.O.P.Q...etc only be on the first side of the board?
And where are realy located the F,G,H,I,B1 points? Are these on the second side (the one with the heatsink) of the board?

Is the C Area on top or underside view?

Cause i don't see nothing like that on Top view but yes on the under view!

This is entirely up to the installer but because g2 are so small I always stick them on top of the chip I've marked in yellow in pic below. Other installers prefer some where around the g2 logo

Just another question.
I'm installing the Ripper IV modchip. Should the 2 dots labeled "S" be shunted?
The same for F!

The Letter is between the 2 dots and i'm in doubt

you've lost me now are you talking about the 3 points that need bridging on the chip?

Srry about the confusion!

What i was saying is if when soldering the "F" Wire to the chip would it soldered on the 2 dots.

For "F" is assinaled in orange and "S" in Red.

I would say you have got a F point next to W and a S point next to R the 2 in the middle I have no Idea is there an official ripper 4 site because I can only find the ripper 3 site

I'm lack of Ripper IV information too!

But the reality is that it's sold.
I bought it on Modchip.it

I've already installed it but is not worrking!
I don't know what could it be i'm trying to find some more info but can only find some for Ripper III too.

if you've installed it and doubled up on the f point I would say thats what its not working those 2 points in the middle are probable spare incase they add dev

what install diagram where you using?

Im using the Diagram on Divineo ( http://www.divineo.cn/divineo_support/products/ps2-rip4/files/v10.jpg )

For the 5V i'm using another dot instead.

By the way, for the "F" dot doubt i've solved it. it is the 2nd bellow RESET.

But it still not working! all wire are well soldered and in contact!

Some Cue?

I've tried with the "S" next to "R" but with the F too.

I'm going to try without the "F"

P.S. - How do i know that the chip is activated or even working? It says something on screen?
