Jap console upgrade to Euro is it possible?

Can a Jap console be upgraded with Euro firmware, does this change the dvd regions if it can be done and can Euro games play in thevJap console, i'm a newbie to the xbox 360, any advice or links much appreciated.

Does anyone know if the Jap version will play Call of Duty euro version ie. is it region free.

I would not say you could update a jap with euro firmware, it would detect the console and see that its jap and just update with the jap firmware, soom games are region free, check lik-sang for that.

Thxs for the reply Vintage. Are there any hacked firmware upgrades like there have been for the psp, that change the firmare to accept any region games made by the software publishers.

Well USA and JAP are both NTSC and Europe is PAL
