Obviously a noob, and was curious... Do you just pop open the UMD case and stick the small disc into the drive? Also, does it have to be a dvd capable drive?
Sorry for the total noob ?, but look at the description of this section!:)

UMD disc's are their own type of media
you put the UMD disc into the PSP, it will either be a movie UMD or a Game UMD disc
if you want to know how to pull the image file from a UMD disc that's a totally different topic ;)

No, there are no umd drives for the pc, you have to use the psp itself to rip umds. Just use a ripping app and rip the umd to the mem card (make sure its at least 1gig mem stick) and then copy it over usb to your pc.

Try Fastloader to copy your UMD.

Ok, thanks for clarifying. So i downloaded the program you linked to, and am thoroughly confused. I read the read me and that didnt clear much up. There are a lot of folders with a lot of Eboot.pbp files. I just want to take the .iso from coded arms to my computer, and be able to transfer it to the memory stick later. Thanks if you can help.

I really hope that you own the coded arms game, otherwise that is piracy and is not allowed on these forums.

Yeah, I have the game in my psp now, but my bro has a PSP too, and theres some issues on who gets to play at times, haha. But yeah, if anyone can explain how I'd be able to get it on my memory card and be able to play it, I'd appreciate it!
I'm not even so much concerned as to compressing the game size, because I'm getting a 2GB stick.
