Newbie help about launchers please

Hi any chance of a bit of help please :D i have a jap PSP just been told how to upgrade to 1.5 done that ok, followed instruction on putting games on memory stick and it still tells me i have curropted data.
now as a newbie i have been reading about launchers etc and i am wondering do i have to have a launcher to run these games i have or am i just sounding like a complete dunce :eek: :confused:

i have just opened one of the disc's i have with my psp and there is a file called common with a load of stuff in it not to sure what any of it is so any help (again lol) you can give will be gratefully accepted.

yeah what you're going to need is 2 things
UMDemulator v0.8 and
MPH Loader

with these 2 combined you will be able to play the ISOs
so long as the games work ;)

Do some a search and you should be able to find all of these things

Mate, I think all you need is reading threads in the "PSP Downgrading, Firmware Exploits & Launchers" forum.
First of all, you'll need 2 tools as Demrok said : the UMD Emulator (and read its txt informations to be sure how to run it), an UMD game in your drive, the MPH Loader for 2.0+ isos, and then of course some isos ...

Btw, taking time reading some clue posts / replies here should help you answering all your questions, really should.

Well, before getting ahead of yourself what "games" are you trying to run?
"Corrupted Data" is something that your PSP file system will do because you need to use a 2 file system to run programs/games on your PSP 1.5. There isn't actually "Corrupted Data" there, it's just that the PSP doesn't understand what it's reading. You can read tutorials on how to "hide" these icons if you find them too annoying to just ignore. There is a list Here (http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=11008) of what games work with which launcher, again try not to get ahead of yourself. You're better off understanding what Fastloader and UMDE are before moving on to using MPH's Loader and trying to figure out how to rebuild ISOs. And you don't NEED to use MPH or mess around with prx files unless you are trying to get newer games to run. Again as jabba said check in the other forum for more info.
