Step by step instructions on how to get MD of Mega Man X working on 1.5-2.0 please?

I've been out of the PSP scene for a little while. I've had my 1.5 PSP for a while now and things have been working well. I went out and bought Mega Man X today and it is forcing me to upgrade to 2.5 to play it. I think that this means that I probably won't be able to play emulators anymore, which totally sucks. I've been reading and there seems to be a way to upgrade to 2.0 and trick your PSP into thinking that it is a 2.5. Can someone please post instructions with a list of what files/programs I'll need and in what order I run them etc? I think there are other people with the same problem that I'm having.. thanks!!

pspsetx 0.2 is a version spoofer for Firmware 2.0. SO yes you would need to upgrade from 1.5 but only to 2.0. Make sure you get the 2.0 upgrade from a respectable site as there are a few places that post a 2.0 update that is actually 2.01 or higher.
Once you are at 2.0 you can then use pspsetx to make it look like you are running 2.5 which will then allow Maga Man X to run.

I'm not 100% sure though but I think you need to use GTA with the cheat tool inorder to run pspsetx under 2.0.

Final note. IF you upgrade to ANYTHING higher than 2.0 then there currently is NO WAY to get back to 1.5 should you decide you want to.

pspsetx runs fine with Fanjita's eBOOT loader for v2.0.

all i wanna say is that someone needs to release a chip for the psp now so we dont have to do the run around with 1.5 and 2.0
