Help with flashing TSOP

My Xbox system info

K : 1.00.5530.01
D : 1.00.5659.03

The TSOP chip has the following written on it

W49F-020T-90B
2328 68 601
337AHSA

I am using the MA exploit to run Evox. I ftp to my xbox and created BIOS directory and copied EvoxM7.bin into it. I then reloaded evox and tried to flash the TSOP I got

Manufacturers ID 09 Device 1D 00
!! Unknown Flash Type

I copied the current flash type from Evox ini file and created the line

ROM = "Original 5530",0xe455feb286dfc16272ad94d773c24460 .

I now get

Manufacturers ID FF Device 1D FF

Manufacturers ID da Device ID 8C
Error reading ini file

Manufacturers ID 09 Device ID 00
!!Flash Not Writeable!!

I have checked my soldering and it seems ok I did it again just in case. I have soldered three points on the board.

Any help would be appreciated ;)

I feel so dirty quoting that lol

you need to add to the [BIOS] section of evox.ini

Flash = 0x0900,"Winbond - W49F020T",0x40000

I believe that should do the trick :)

Thanks for the help did not think I was going to get a reply. :)
I am not bothered about a live ban is it ok to just flash the TSOP with EvoxM7 instead of using a mod chip on a new version Xbox.

be sure to use this in your menu:
Item "Backup Current System hardware",ID_Backup

this will backup your bios, eeprom, hd key etc to a subfolder (in the same place as evox is stored in) called backup.
That's just incase you need to restore anything ever :)

Remember folks if you break the TSOP you can always add a modchip

If you break the eeprom you can use xbtool to embed one into a 4981 or m7 bios and use that in your modchip etc

I believe Yoshihro is working on an easy eeprom flashing system.. go Yoshihro go!
