To be fair you should of left it for between 3 and 5 days before attempting to do anything with it.
If it still has water in it or its damp it could affect something.
Problem is you may have caused the home button and volume buttn problem by swiching or trying to switch it on.
I suggest trying an airing cupboard and leave it for a good few days. But the damage may already have been done now...

thanks for the advice i only turned it on once im never turning it on for about 5-6 days i read on the forums someone dropped theres in a toilet getting alot more water than i did i just spilt a tiny bit on the screen so it poored down in the mother board and stuff so maybe ill get lucky like him he said his started working 100% and i think he turned it on multiple times but thats alot of luck i just hope i get it. :D if not not a HUGE HUGE loss i rather buy a new one and get 1.5 or 2.0, 2.0 is fine because there is a current downgrade if i wanted to go lower, ah im going to take way better care of this next one i get.
