Anyone know what is new in V6 over V5? I think it has support for NDS's that require Passme2, but havn't been able to find an official change log for it. Anyone know what is up?

Finally found some information on that. Been wondering some time myself..

Found this at another place:

"Loopy/Olimar have released a new version of his DS replacement firmware Flashme. He states on gbadev forum that this is a non-critical update, so unless you really need the features thats been fixed, you have no need to update.

Updating to Flashme v6 from Flashme v5 do not require shorting SL1.

Changes:

* shows your old firmware version
* fixed booting problems with with Darkain's MultiNDS and NeoFlash loaders"

So i guess unless you have problems with either of those two there's no need to upgrade. Interesting tho that you don't have to short the SL1 to upgrade.

Does anyone know where I can download the flashme.nds file?
I am trying to get it from http://ds.gcdev.com/dsfirmware/
But the site seems dead

Thanks

The official flashme site has moved here (http://www.ds-dev.com/dsfirmware/). Happy flashing :D

Anyone sure this is legit? Someone could have easily spoofed the other site and put a file on here that bricks our DS.

oh come on man, i'd never put a link to a bricker!
many people have used that site to get the new v6, you can check this forum (http://www.scdev.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2665).
do you honestly think someone could get away with making a 100% copy of the original flashme site with a bricker inserted, without the affected people (and the flashme devs as well) creating hundreds of threads on all console related forums?
you can always do a search for a flashme version that was released before the first appearance of the bricker, check the checksum/md5/whatever and flash it. after you have flashed that version, you're safe from getting bricked (you have the option to recover) and then you can "experiment" with any site you want...
your call, i was just trying to spread the word of the new address for the site.

Hyperlink and firmware is legit. Used it yesterday to flash to FlashMe v6. Thanks for the new link!
