PBL 1.4 problem

HI, just tried PBL 1.4. When I try to boot it I see the black screen that says

Phoenix Bios Loader 1.4
forum.maxconsole.com

loading USB something
canntot load P:/boot.cfg

but I hav boot.cfg file in my folder. Whats the problem?:(

you prolly haven't your boot.cfg filled out properly.

is it full of zeros?

no, my boot.cfg file was fine. I saw several other ppl has the same problem. anyway i downloaded new Phoenix Bios Loader 1.4 (unofficial - by Yoshihiro) and now working fine.

kingroach: does your pbl runs xbe's?

I'm using PBL 1.4 and the XBMP start ok, but after that I can't run any XBE. The screen goes black.

My xbox is Bios 4034 and dash 4920. Anyone please?

probably you need to sign the .xbes. But if PBL runs then u dont need to sign .xbes. u can try using other dash cz I am using xbmc and it cannt run "beyond good and evil" from hard drive but if i start evox from xbmc then select the game from evox the it runs fine!!!

kingroach: I don't think that as something to do with signing, I think is the way xbmp calls other xbe or something more deep in the PBL, because I changed the default dash from xbmp to evox and now I can run the programs that I have in hdd as some games in DVD. But if the DVD's has mxm acting as a menu the game don't boot only mxm.

Maybe something to do with level of execution? This is something that only more tech could make some light. Lets wait and hope that someone appears.

ya u are right cz I cannt load "BG&E" with XBMC which is the same group as XBMP. But I didnt changed the dash, I just load evox from XBMC apps menu and then run the game.:D

I have the same problem only with some Fishtank versions though... must be something to do with the way XBMC is compiled
