is a very good company there is where i bought my chips and i live in holland ( few years back it was hard to get chips for the xbox)

and theyve donated chips and other stuff to XBMC so they are for real and i cant wait for the release of the chips if they get passed the extreme testing procedures :)

You need to solder a circuit board on top of the motherboard in your xbox360. Will help you connecting VGA devices and some speakers directly to your box. No big deal and for certain no mod chip :D

I was around when the xbox got hacked and a big part of that happening was the xboxhacker.net forums. This is where bunnie hung out and everything that happened started there or was discovered there. Every exploit and tactic that they discovered was used by the chip developers to make chips and hack the bios. Xboxhacker.net is back and they are looking deep into the 360, but have not had any breakthrus. Believe me, if true hackers and engineers can't find a way to exploit it yet, it doesn't exist.

2. think about it, 20 chineese super smart nerds with (almost) infinite resources working around the clock to be the first to come out with this DVD drive mod chip so we can play backups, rip the games etc etc, theres a **** load of money to be made here and they already had all the technical concepts of how it would work maybe even some code.

3. why would Canadians of all people in the world lie about anything!? ( i am Canadian i know how it goes up here!)

4. China and Canada have a really strong relationship now days theres bound to be some reason to give the chip to the Canadians first.

5. xbox 360 is made in china so they might have paid someone big buxx for some super secret info..

6. combine all those things do some reading/researching come to a solid conclusion and start saving your money for this chip now!

7. why would they answer all of our emails and keep't the site up and deliver more info if it was fake?, i think the reason why they made that boot disc was to laugh at the stupid idea of some lame boot disc and shove it up PI's ass (screw you PI!) and the boot disc even warned you about it being fake if you open it in a hex editor, what kind of hoxor would have done that?

See now once you said its safe for live and works with xbox 1 games I know you are lying. Xbox games are done thru emulation and each game needs to be programmed individually. It is not possible to have all xbox games working on the 360, period. Infinity mods and icemods or whatever this new site is named are owned by the same person and hosted on the same server. And my final most convincing evidence is IT'S A M$ PRODUCT, no matter what M$ does its FULL of holes and flaws.(HAHAHAHA hard to mod my A$$$$)

You should see that those pcb are so old tech and have no link with a possible mod...

I don't say that the chip is for real, but the devices shown on the photos are by no means old tech, so that's no proof it's fake. The chip on the upper image PCBs are Xilinx Coolrunner XPLA3 XCR3064XL-10CP56I type CPLDs, released 2005. The chips on the bottom image look suspicious, but I can't read the part numbers. It's not uncommon to see oldschool packaging like that even for state-of-the-art chips, for development purposes...

It's not a problem to show the chip used, as the chip would most probably be a CPLD or FPGA anyway. The chips aren't really that important, you could do the same with several different chips - the chips 'configuration' is important. But the PCBs with Xilinx chips are off-the-shelf parts, so the chip could even be 'empty'.

This means that the pictures are completely worthless, and it's impossible to judge the credibility by the pictures. The chip on the picture _might_ be usable to create a 360 mod, but that's about it - I think we'll have to wait and see...

I remember back to the enigmah release, a lot of guys say "it's a fake" and then the chip really comes (ok, the chip was **** but the first step). I believe a mod chip comes out faster then a lot of guys think...

Yes, but the only difference was that they methods of hacking were discovered on the xboxhacker.net forums BEFORE any chip came out. The technical aspects of the chip were known before anything was released and we knew it was possible. As of now, there has been little to no progress made on any of the technical boards.
