A rumour from Thailand reported that there would be pirate games available for the XB360 soon. Moreover, it is no need to add any modchips to play!!! If it is real, that will be a nightmare for MS!!!

I wouldn't believe this though, as the last few consoles have been cracked in the west, primarily Europe, and the orientals just usually talk a load of **** and sell backup games for less than a sheet of toilet paper.

In them type of countries they have massive pressing plants, backups are more common then buying a normal, it just like that over there.

i wouldnt believe the rumors especially when they derive from thailand. wasnt the first ever supposed gamecube crack from thailand. The supposed crack that had u connect a seperated cdrom to the under connecters on the gamecube that allowed the play of original sized discs?

The mass production of counterfeit movies and games comes from those 2 places.

Albeit, for them to release something that requires no modchip is highly unlikly as there counterfeit stuff is not 100% quality to begin with, and to have the protection scheme hacked for xbox 360 games instead of normal xbox games would not be likely.

I do belevie there was to be a modchip supposedly released in 1st or 2nd week of January, but would add that to rumour/speculation until someone shows or has one in ther hands to verify it does indeed work.

P.S. Gamecube was hacked prior to Viper chip( and prior to creator( forget his name ) that work( viper design ) was taken off of ), as many people had without top case to play normal DVD's in it, and required a swap. Albeit never came from thialand, but did exist.

Your talking about tmbinc's code i'm talking way before that. a long time ago in a distant past there were reports of the gamecube being cracked in thailand and it required a dvd-rom attachment, this was later proven false and close to 2yrs later there finally came out a chip. I was never saying it was the first crack i was saying it was the "supposed" first crack. Back to topic, bunny said on his blog he doesnt think a modchip will be needed but again, i wont go getting my hopes up until proven.

Its getting off topic with the NGC info, but just wanted people to know sometimes hacks exist before public gets method.

A hack for 360 will either need tobe 100% identical DVD-9/5 to get by signing, or bypass live connection all together.

Interesting note: Kiosk disk games in games played show name of game with Kiost Disc attached, does this mean they where compiled differently for kiosk, or is this an easy mark for M$ to see how wide spread and unsigned disc can get as it was only meant for retailers.
