Game Dumping HELP?

:confused: Anybody have successed to read X-Box 360 by JSR method?
I have tried many times and used 8G DVD Video (OTP) and 8G PS2 Game (PTP) and all got bad sectors around 47%-50% i.e. First Layer only
I can't read the second layer. Why? Anyone knows the problems?

How to know if the dump was succesful ?

I did with a dvd movie, got a 7.38GB ISO image.

You already asked that question somewhere else in maxconsole's forum. Why don't you try another dvd drive ;) ?

Have you got error sectors in about 50%?

Few sector errors at the begining and end of process, less than 50% for sure, felt more like 10.

What DVD to use, are we allowed to suggest a DVD that we can use for this ?
Been trough about 20 in my collection, always around 7GB!

I used a 7.38GB movie to do 2 of em'
And got twice an ISO of 7.38GB... ehm!....

How can we know this method actualy works if we cant test or verify the dumps ?

All tools released to check dumps dont open the iso, or if they do, we only see the video and audio folders!!

Well if your dump doesn't contain weird looking files like (§/"§?! then it should actually be a good one I guess ... :)

The hotswap method is only for playing around a bit with 360 files it's far from being 100% accurate :rolleyes:

Could be helpful if we build a list of games that can be successfully dumped and what movie dvd was used for that :)
