I am writing this for those that are new and need a clear direction in wich to head....I find tutorials but they all miss something..so hopefully this helps...
Things you need: Transfer cable/Xplorer 360 or xport360/Concept .2 or .3/game save editors to edit individual games saves..there are different ones for different games..MODIO/Complicators gamesave editor/COD editor...etc
Step 1: You need a tranfer cable to hook up your Xbox 360 HD to P.C
(you can buy on ebay or call microsoft and tell them you brought a
new HD and need to tranfer your saves..they send for free. IT has
USB on one end and big rectangle on the other where your HD
plugs in.)
Step 2: You need Xplorer 360 for 20gig and 120gig HD/Xport 360 for 60gig HD
This lets you browse your HD content.
Step 3: You need open HD then Partition 3/content/FFFE07D1/00010000/
E00001835AAEC197: this is your profile and achivements. you make a
backup copy and save another to mod. To unlock achivements you
open this using PROFILE EDITOR. Do not unlock all your achivements.
Do a few at a time or you will get banned. open file with profile-
unlock what you want-then save. To do one at a time close screen
at bottom using small icon on bottom right just on top of split screen
line. select one game-view achivements. Highlight the achivement you want then hit unlock then hit save. you can
unlock all achivements but i wouldnt recomend it....
Step 3: Using Concept .2 or .3 open file back up and sign and rehash. Copy
back to HD. Disconnect ethernet or wireless and turn on 360. run a
game for few minutes and then go online and you will see achivement
pop up with new score.
Step 4: In order to edit gamesave for example say FALLOUT 3...you follow
the same steps to open HD/partition 3/content and you see names of
ur games....select Fallout 3..then copy save file to PC. Make back up.
Using Complicators Save game editor for Fallout 3 you edit save/resign/rehash and copy back to HD. (You need to change extension of Fallout 3 save by renaming and adding a s at the end of file extension. Copmplicators save editor is tutorial by it self so go you tube it.
THIS was to get you guys in the right direction as far as opening your HD. For people with VISTA run all apps with ADMIN and XPservice pack2 compatible..you can do this through properties of app icon. if still fails-update vista. For those with XP you may need certain drivers or Netframework 3.5..(http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=ab99342f-5d1a-413d-8319-81da479ab0d7&displaylang=en) but i used VISTA so i dont know..good luck and have fun.
