N00b needs help with game saves

Alright I hate that the 360 doesn't have a cheat device, I want my games to be fun not challenging. I was wondering 2 things

1. Can I use game saves to start games with items and full health and stuff. I don't care about the achievements

2. I tried to read before asking and I read about resigning ... downloading saves for achievements and all. Didn't make much sense. And I suppose I cant just download the save ... copy it into my HDD using xplorer360. I think it has to be assigned to my profile. Could someone please link me to a tutorial on how to do that form the downloading to the playing please.
I've also read about how to do this thing called spg. What does that do exactly?

Im looking to buy the XB360 Transfer kit by datel and wanted to be sure I can use it for what i need. Thanks for the help.

Ok I can help. You will need xplorer360 or xport360 once you get your transfer kit. once you got that you will need a "CON RESIGNER TOOL" I got mines from xploder and it will resign the save files to work with your system. just PM me if you have any new questions.

WOW ... this whole forum and I got one response ... thanks man ... I'm still waiting on the XB360 cable. Once I get it imma use Xport360 (already got it now) and see what happens. But yeah, I might have to take you up on the PM thing if i get stuck.

I have resigners and transfer prgms which allow more access instead of the one that comes with the data transfer cable, just let me know which size HD you have for your 360 the 20gig or 120gig.

Ok I got the XB360 Cable and I found out it only works with memory cards not HDD, so i went out and bought a memory card.
Now I open it up in Its not like the HDD tutorials that are on youtube and such. Its only got 2 partitions. Im gonna play around with it and see what happens. I made a backup just in case.

If you guys know how to get my profile ID so I can Resign games with the memory card Id appreciate it. Oh and Im using Moidio?????? to resign my saves.

I used Xport 360 and Modio and figured it out.
