Hi guys, I have moonshell installed on my ds (R4), working without a problem and all. However I have been looking for a better video player, as moonshell does not have any tools at all, no pause, fast forward or anything, and these things kind of come in handy. Anyways, I googled and found the Max media player which looks great but I had no luck installing it on my card. I downloaded the player and extracted it into the root of my card but I cannot use it. It saves a bootme file on the card so i click on it but it only gives me a blank screen. If i click on a video then it plays it with moonshell. According to the Max media website, i am supposed to only download their file and nothing else, so I tried that too but without the moonshell the card doesnt boot at all as it cannot find the ds dat file. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make it work? Many thanks!

That media player software is only for Datel products, so it won't work on the R4. However, Moonshell definitely has pause and fast-forward, etc. Which version of Moonshell do you have? In 1.71, pause with the L button, and tap the bottom screen to bring up a bar you can tap to seek through the video. In 2.0 it should be similar, but I don't remember exactly how to do it. Might be double-tap-and-hold L or R to seek forwards or backwards.

It might, if you manually DLDI patch it correctly.
