O.o. I'm sorry, but that has got to be the dumbest question I have ever seen on a game-saving forum.
Transferring a save from one profile to another is called game-saving. Yes, it is possible. Check the tutorials on how to do it.

SkinnyFever, I am not as smart as you. I read the sicky threads before I posted, I followed the steps here:
http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=90072
They did not work for me. That was the reason why I created this very silly thread.
Do you want to help then show me the links?

If you seriously want to get into game-saving, I would suggest you join a proper game-saving site, like ******* ******. They have excellent guides, excellent saves and an excellent community.

I thought it would be really simple. I am not trying to get the achievements or anything like that I just wanted to save time by not having to play from start again.

What free app can you use to transfer the saved game file? I am thinking of pulling the drive out of the shell and connect it directly with the SATA cable and power from my PC.
Can you buy the Xploder just the app? If I have the MS data transfer cable can I use Xploder with the hard disk or does it only work with the MS memory unit?

You can buy the downloadable software for Xploder.
Or you can use Xplorer360.

I think xPloder does not work with hard disks only memory units.
I will have to use Xplorer with Ghosti's NXE resigner.

Your question is not dumb or stupid... we all have to start somewhere... hopefully this helps.
As I read, you want to take a game-save from Profile A and use it on Profile B, right?
There are several programs that you can use:
XploRer Beta(free) which works well with MU's and supposely HDD's. There's also homebrewed smaller apps but i wouldn't mess w/them.
The XploDer software is downloadable for a fee if you already have the cable required and it automatically resigns for you. I've read that the MS transfer cable will work for HDD purposes.
You'll also need a resigner(assigns a new "identity" to the game-saves), I prefer Ghosti's
There are some files that need to be decrypted like from 360gs, You'll need one of the many decrypting softwares out there. Some saves are made into a diff file like xploder changes theirs to .gsx, search for a torrent for 360SR, it's an all in one resigner which changes file types too. It's from Bluesh4d0w5 member.
If you need the zip/rar files, community addresses, etc send me a private message i'll help you out a bit.

Thanks underachiever, I appreciate your help and comments. I will send you a PM once I get my MS cable.
I have downloaded, Xplorer and Ghosti's resigner. No problem there. However I did download the Xploder but it asks for lic. key and stuff, so it is not free. Also there website says that the currently it does not work with hard disks.
I have a read a few tutorials but none of them talk about the last 360gs step you mentioned. So I am a little confused. I could not find 360SR on the web either.

I used the Xplorer and Ghosti's resinger to transfer the game using MS cable. Everything went fine but the GS (Gamer Score) did not transfer. What am I doing wrong?
